American artist Geoffry Wharton grew up in Nebraska, California, and North Dakota; studied in Sacramento and later on a Fulbright Grant in London, England.

He has performed worldwide as a violin soloist, chamber music player, and orchestral musician, performing with the English Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Modern Frankfurt, the Cologne Philharmonic (Gürzenichorchester, where he was Associate Concertmaster for over 30 years), the WDR Symphony Orchestra, and many others. He has appeared in chamber music festivals in the US, and in all European countries.
